Lent Prayer for the Weekend
Lord, with your loving care
guide the repentance we have begun.
Help us to persevere with love and sincerity.
Lord, we know how much you love us.
It’s hard for us to feel it sometimes,
but we know your love is always with us.
Help us to draw upon your love as a way
to persevere in our Lenten intentions.
We are weak, but we know with your help,
we can use these small sacrifices in our lives to draw closer to you.
Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
