I kicked off this blog a year ago.
I had thought about doing this for quite some time, but finally jumped in last summer. I must say that I’ve really enjoyed thinking out loud and reflecting along with others. It’s been nice to re-connect with some old friends and to make some new ones.
To celebrate, I’m taking the day off.
One nice thing about a blog is that I’m the boss!

Be heartened by the fact you have a faithful readership who frequent what you blog about. Don’t be disheartened by critics; some know nothing else but criticism, and others feel strongly enough about the subject matter you include in your blog that they are compelled to engage what you say.
Either way, complimentary or critical readers are evidence that you’re thoughts are propagating beyond yourself.
